Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Rome

Arrive at Rome Fiumicino (FCO). Settle into your hotel and spend the evening enjoying a welcome dinner in the lively Piazza Navona.

Day 2: Pompeii & Transfer to Sorrento

Take a morning high-speed train to Naples (1 hour). From there, a private transfer will take you to the ancient ruins of Pompeii for a 2-hour guided walking tour.

Afternoon: Continue to the cliffside town of Sorrento, the gateway to the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy some Limoncello as you watch the sunset over the Bay of Naples.

Day 3: The Amalfi Coast Drive (Positano & Amalfi)

Embark on one of the most spectacular coastal drives in the world. Your driver will navigate the winding roads, stopping first in the glamorous, vertical town of Positano.

Afternoon: Continue to the town of Amalfi. Visit the stunning Duomo di Amalfi and enjoy fresh seafood by the Mediterranean before returning to Sorrento.

Day 4: Island of Capri Excursion

Take a high-speed ferry from Sorrento to the luxurious island of Capri. Take the funicular up to Capri town for designer shopping and incredible views of the Faraglioni rock formations.

Option: Weather permitting, take a small rowboat inside the glowing Blue Grotto sea cave.

Day 5: Train to Tuscany (Siena)

Transfer back to Naples and take a high-speed train north into the heart of Tuscany. Pick up your rental car (or use our arranged transfers) and drive to the medieval hill town of Siena.

Evening: Explore the Piazza del Campo, famous for the Palio horse race, and dine on rich Tuscan wild boar ragù.

Day 6: Chianti Wine Region

Spend the day driving through the iconic rolling hills of the Chianti Classico wine region, dotted with cypress trees and stone farmhouses.

The Experience: Stop at a local vineyard for a wine tasting and a traditional Tuscan farmhouse lunch featuring pecorino cheese and prosciutto.

Day 7: Arrival in Florence

Drop off your car and arrive in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Visit the Uffizi Gallery to see works by Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci.

Day 8: Florence Duomo & Markets

Climb the 463 steps to the top of Brunelleschi's Dome for panoramic views. Later, shop for leather goods at the San Lorenzo Market and enjoy a massive Bistecca alla Fiorentina for your farewell dinner.

Day 9: Departure

Transfer to Florence Airport (FLR) or take a quick train back to Rome for your departure flight.
