Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Benvenuti a Roma!

Arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO). Take the Leonardo Express train directly to Termini Station in the city center. Check into your hotel.

Evening: Take a leisurely walk to toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain (guaranteeing your return to Rome!) and enjoy your first authentic Roman pasta dinner (we recommend Cacio e Pepe or Carbonara) in the Trastevere neighborhood.

Day 2: The Colosseum & Ancient Rome

Step back 2,000 years in time. Use your skip-the-line passes to explore the mighty Colosseum, where gladiators once battled.

Afternoon: Walk through the Roman Forum and hike up the Palatine Hill. Later, visit the Pantheon, a marvel of ancient engineering, and grab some gelato at Giolitti nearby.

Day 3: The Vatican City & High-Speed Train to Florence

Early morning guided tour of the Vatican Museums, the awe-inspiring Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. (Dress code enforced: shoulders and knees must be covered).

Late Afternoon: Head to Roma Termini and board the Frecciarossa high-speed train. You'll arrive in Florence in just 1 hour and 30 minutes! Check into your Florence hotel.

Day 4: Renaissance Florence

Florence is an open-air museum. Start at the magnificent Duomo with its iconic red dome. Walk through the Piazza della Signoria and cross the jewelry-lined Ponte Vecchio bridge.

Must see: Visit the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s masterpiece, the statue of David. In the evening, walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo for the best sunset view over the city.

Day 5: Train to Venice (The Floating City)

Board the high-speed train from Florence to Venezia Santa Lucia station (approx. 2 hours 15 minutes). As you exit the station, you'll be greeted by the stunning Grand Canal.

Afternoon: Navigate the canals via a Vaporetto (water bus) to reach your hotel. Spend the afternoon getting intentionally lost in the labyrinth of narrow streets and tiny bridges.

Day 6: St. Mark's Square & Gondola Romance

Visit the opulent St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace. Walk across the Rialto Bridge and explore the bustling Rialto Market.

Evening: Cap off your Italian adventure with a classic 30-minute Gondola ride through the quiet, romantic back-canals of Venice, followed by a seafood dinner (Cicchetti) and an Aperol Spritz.

Day 7: Arrivederci, Italia

Take a water taxi or the Alilaguna water bus from Venice directly to Marco Polo Airport (VCE) for your departure flight.
